Shift Supervisor  

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista Shift Supervisor to join our team at our new Minnetonka MN Location (at WestRidge Market) and Downtown Minneapolis Location (in the Fifth Street Towers office building). The Barista Shift Supervisor will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of baristas, and ensuring the smooth operation of the coffee shop during their shifts.   • Working as a supervisor during PM/closing shifts (need to work closing shifts at least three times a week and willing to work one day on weekends)

  • Provide excellent customer service by taking and preparing orders, addressing customer inquiries, and ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas during your shifts, ensuring they follow established guidelines, maintain a clean workspace, and deliver top-quality beverages.

  • Ensure that coffee and espresso drinks are prepared to the highest standards, maintaining the quality and consistency of our offerings.

  • Train new baristas on the company's standards, recipes, and customer service protocols.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, place orders as necessary, and track usage to minimize waste.

  • Assist in creating and managing work schedules, and ensure that the coffee shop is adequately staffed during your shift

  • Maintain a clean and organized coffee shop, including regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.

  • Resolve customer complaints and address any issues that may arise during your shift promptly.

  • Ensure that employees follow health and safety regulations, as well as the coffee shop's policies and procedures.



  • Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role.

  • Leadership experience and the ability to lead a team effectively.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skill

  • Hands-on experience with brewing equipment, and knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage recipes, Experience of preparing food in a quick service restaurant is a plus

  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of sanitation regulations

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including AM/PM, weekends and holidays. (no evenings and weekends for downtown location)
